Magalie Guérin’s paintings, to produce a unique formulation of both abstraction and representation, engage figure and ground, pattern and color, space and edge. These elements overlap and interact across the surface, creating a visual dialogue where structure emerges through the tension of competing forms. Through this layered logic, each work becomes a conversation within the frame—one that invites the viewer to interpret its shifting relationships and, subsequently, potential.
