Kaveri Raina

Kaveri Raina works in drawing and painting, the former of which informs her paintings with graphite and acrylic on burlap. Forms emerging from her drawings reappear in other works, though their meaning, context, and materiality are often repurposed. Within her abstract works, there are narratives of surrender and conquest between forms, sometimes sombre and others fanciful.
