Nina Surel

  • Aligning the malleability and transformative properties of clay with the human body, Nina Surel’s ceramic sculptures and wall installations trace creation, transformation, and renewal. Interested in female fertility as an illustration and rite of passage, Surel’s work engages deeply with ritual and process. Organic and textural, her biomorphic forms draw the viewer into relationship with the work in space.
