Sarah Bedford received her BFA from the Cooper Union, attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and is the 2023-24 recipient of the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Residency. She has been awarded the Lower East Side Printshop Fellowship, the National Academy of Design Painting Award as well as co-curated Flower Craft at the Museum of Arts and Design, NY in 2022. Represented by Mrs since 2020, Bedford’s most recent solo exhibition was at Mrs winter of 2023. Currently selected for the Brooklyn Museum’s 200th Anniversary Artists Exhibition, other notable solo and group shows include: Vitrine Gallery, Bermondsey Square, London, Secrist Beach, Chicago, Charles Moffett Gallery, Albertz Benda Gallery, Deanna Evans Projects, and Foyer, Los Angeles among others. She has been profiled in publications such as Galerie Magazine, Maake Magazine, Hyperallergic and a ‘must see’ in Art Forum. The artist lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
