Dana DeGiulio
-
Dana DeGiulio thinks intensely about the relationship between figure and ground, particularly edges as they are touched, felt, and perceived. In her intimate paintings, she returns to similar subjects, but each time, positioned, colored, or illuminated slightly differently. Time travels between her paintings as well as within them, as flower petals fall and the wind blows leaves.
